BHI was set up in 1998, and it was co-founded by Research Institute of Investment National Development and Reform Commission, China National Association of Engineering Consultants and China Association of Construction Enterprise Management. In 2000, BHI got the class A qualification certificate on engineering consulting by National Development and Reform Commission.
